Now that's what stings possibly more than anything. The sense that he's a disappointment. That even when he's trying his best, he's still just a failure. And prior to this, Togusa had always been in his corner--someone he was able to rely on to back him up. But what is he supposed to do?Just sit there and take whatever Retrospec dishes out? Act like he's okay with it? It feels like he's being backed into a corner--everyone wants him to just be okay with everything that's happening to him and stop making a fuss. Like he's the problem here.
