You can always ask on Retrospec, someone on there will probably be okay with it. That's how I got someone to take me.

You don't have to be military to know how to use a gun.

Maybe it's something to do with hunting. I think rifles are more of a hunting type thing.

Footprints in the snow, huh? That's vague enough that I think even I remember something like that.

I don't know what to tell you, you're going to have to remember some more before you can know for sure. But shooting might help--I definitely got a bunch of memories out of doing it.

I think so. I remember enough about this gun that I could put it together in my sleep. I did some googling and turns out it's an old German police gun from the WW2 era.

No way, not even a little. Those are dumb and goofy, nothing like what WW2 was actually like.

[ Which is mostly assumption, he doesn't really remember enough of the war to know much about it firsthand, but he knows enough history to know it didn't involve anything as silly as a guy wearing a sweater with "IZAN" written on it in huge letters. ]

No, I think he actually was in WW2. I remember keeping watch for Nazis in a forest. I think the comics are just some bad joke they wanted to prank me with somehow.

I don't know what word you're looking for, though. Deja vu, maybe? Coincidence?

I like "other" too. The other words sound like some mystical fantasy novel junk when we have no idea what this really is.

The comics have to be a bad joke. Nowhere in the history books or documentaries does it say anything about WW2 being funny book material. I'm still not convinced Retrospec didn't make those in the first place, anyway.

Other Bucky works, if we really are going to go with "other" versions of ourselves.

I don't know if they would, but I can't figure out why they'd exist otherwise. There's no record of these books or this publishing company ever existing, so what else could it be?

It's technically the same thing as getting pranked, but somehow even more.

It's named after some TV show where they'd record people getting pranked and then someone would jump out and shout "you just got punked."

Considering it's Retrospec pulling it? Nah, the only ones getting pranked/punked/whatever is just us. At least as far as getting stuff in the mail and remembering stuff goes, anyway.
