i finished two songs. i had a lot of trouble understanding how it should sound since i don't write music, so i composed lyrics in japanese first, and then switched to english and cleaned it up.

I'm doing the final mix on most of the songs. Send the lyrics over and I'll find a way to make the music work with them.

i don't really know... are you sure it's fine? i don't want you to lose your vision. i'm open to critique.

What? Get real, man, I'm not about to get between a man and his lyrics. If I changed any of this stuff I'd just corrupt all the thoughts and feelings you put into it. I'm just here to put some music behind it.

seriously? i guess i'm more used to sports. if my coach ever went "that's fine" about my performance i think i'd die of shock.

Yeah well this is music, not sports. It's not about going harder or faster, it's about making something you're proud of. I'm not about to tell you how to feel about your own lyrics.

But yeah, there's going to be a show next month to promo the album at Cabin Eleven.

Harder and faster is all my music is already.

Well obviously it's also got substance and depth to the lyrics.

But the music, the sound? That's "harder and faster" all the way.
