by a roll i do mean like, somehow he contorts his body into a sonic the hedgehog-esque roll before standing back up ]

[ where are we? who knows! it doesn't matter, only that it's before all the insanity of tuesday evening. anyway, a trapdoor is opening under them and dropping the both of them into a blurring landscape as the wind whizzes past (pages 01 to 10)...

...two weeks later, RJ has healed up from the bullet wound. He's staying with you now, and even going to therapy, even if he seems to hate it and keeps trying to poke holes in every fact of this new life at every turn. That's fine, what's important is that he's still going, still making the effort. Still adjusting to the new patterns until they become "normal." The therapist says the best thing you can do is be patient and offer positive reinforcement.

You get a call, though, to exfil a client in hiding who thinks he's been found out. You decide to take RJ along, to be a positive role model and show him that his skills have a place in the world for the better. But in the aftermath, he lashes out (pages 11-12). ]

week 7, monday

Despite the circumstances, it's nice to have the place a wee bit more lively, don't you think?

The circumstances are feeling pretty good right about now, to be honest.

I mean, aside from the part where we're still on a degrading, perverse game show. But that was going to be the case whether they came back or not.

I meant more the degrading game show being taken over by people even less sane, but I suppose it isnae that much of a difference with the things you've ended up doing...
