This must be what Christmas is like in Australia. Or maybe Hawaii.

Umm... [ She trails off, glancing between him and the decorations. ] I've heard of Christmas by now, but you've lost me on the other two.

Not even Australia? [ girl that's a whole ass CONTINENT ] How messed up did the Earth get?

Australia's a massive country and continent. It's in the Southern Hemisphere, so Christmas, which happens in December, is during summer for them when it's warm. Hawaii's a set of tropical islands where it's warm year round.
