[So many people encourage Rui to drink, haha. He shakes his head, not in the mood for trying to make a bit]

Sorry, no. Although, frankly, I'm beginning to understand the temptation of indulging in this.

[Is this the sort of day that makes others want to drink? He's sure it is]

I certainly witnessed plenty of people coming here just to pass the time. That I still don't get.

[All of you and your recreational drinking]

That started reasonable enough and took such a depressing turn.

I should thank you -- for reinforcing my decision of avoiding this like the plague.

[He sits down nearby]

Although I have my own vices as well. On days as exhausting as this one, I'd decompress by building any robot I have pending to build. Oh, woe, I cannot do that here.

[He's a bit afraid he'll give rusty!]

Heheheh...I am a supergenius.

[Don't laugh ominously, Rui]

Not really, they're normal robots. My AI building capabilities are basic -- face recognition, the ability to respond when talked to, situational awareness, make them able to dance despite being bulky...but they don't have actual sentience. They cannot take decisions by themselves. It'd be disastrous if they behaved in unexpected ways!

[Since he uses them as show props. Them going rogue would ruin everything!]

To dance on the stage! A friend was afraid of performing on stage, so I built a robot of her she could control, until she turned comfortable.

[Yeah, Rui makes a whole lot of machines and robots that can be used in the shows in his troupe, and he's so proud of that. Heck, the robot he's talking about is pretty much a fifth member of the troupe now and kids love her]
