Aikawa does look like he wants to be slinking out of here -- not because of anything Bucky did, but more because of his own guilt and awkwardness. The person Bucky'd been speaking to up to now is someone he'd rather ignore and pretend doesn't exist, and what is he supposed to do when someone he considers a friend by all accounts has to see it? And that's not even considering the memories piled on top of that.
But as he's trying to slink away, he pauses, and wilts a little, glancing back at him. It's a test of will, to run away and ignore Bucky's trauma being laid out before him in favour of trying to sweep away his own, or to not.
Some distant part of him, a different facet, feels pity. Points an accusing finger from the back of his mind, asking him 'do you think ███████ felt like that?'. ]
[ WHEN WILL THIS SPECIFIC MEMORY COME BACK FROM THE MEMSHARE WAR
now we are both in a standoff of being frozen in place wondering what the fuck to do. And Bucky thinks of another conversation he had. About trying your best, and even if it goes tits up, making the best of it anyway. He thinks the best thing, in the long run, is probably Talking It Out. Therapy and shit that they both very clearly need.
Bucky doesn't know how to give therapy. But... ]
Uhhh...do you wanna get some apple juice? I bet they have some in the kitchen.
[ He snorts a little bit... and then it kind of turns into a sorta laugh, huffy and weak and probably a bit bordering tired and hysterical -- it's been an absolute rollercoaster since he arrived here.
I don't even know what that means. Fucking closet nerd, right here.
[ Everything happens SO MUCH and sometimes you just loop around to laughing at nonsense just to kind of escape and ignore it a bit. It's okay. Sometimes, that's good.
Wiping his face a little bit, but yeah he's down. Our glorious kitchen where we actually get provided food unlike some other graveyards. ]
You don't need to go to school to be a nerd. It's a vibe.
[ I think we actually started in the kitchen but you know what, it's fine. Peripheral awareness is a bust. They may sit around drinking apple juice like responsible sober adults. ]
...Sipping apple juice in the graveyard a second time. Should've made them juice boxes to boot.
[ Does Schrödinger exist in his world, I DON'T KNOW send help but he wouldn't know the concept anyway even though he probably actually literally is that concept himself. ]
Eh, animal crackers, juice boxes, small little blankets that absolutely, definitely, for sure covered 100% of my body. That kind of stuff. It was a daycare.
[ He will draw the line at that. He isn't in the mood to humour More Death jokes. That being said, he'll just look at their apple juices like. ]
I guess I never saw one until the school, either. They're kinda hard to drink out of, but if you want that baby novelty, there might be some around here.

[ Tfw you don't have a childhood or don't remember having one. He scoots in closer peering in over Bucky's shoulder. ]
