It's because I can't bring it back that I read as much as I can when I get to come out here.

Maybe. I always read a lot back home. I'm pretty good at remembering the things I've read, too.

And then...what do you do with all that knowledge?

Huh? Well, knowledge can be useful for all kinds of things.

For example... when I traveled beyond the castle for the first time, it was really helpful that I'd read about so many other places. Oh, and I encountered lots of plants and creatures I'd read about before, too!

I guess it does help to know animal behaviors and what plants are edible or not if you're travelling somewhere new for the first time.

Exactly! Like one time, I was able to identify a harmful plant in a forest, so we knew to avoid it!

[She thinks about that anecdote a little.]

...Okay, we didn't all avoid it, but we knew better...
